Source Sans Pro is a sans serif typeface created by Paul D. Hunt for Adobe Systems. It is the first open-source font family from Adobe, distributed under the SIL Open Font License.

The typeface is inspired by the forms of the American Type Founders’ gothics by Morris Fuller Benton, such as News Gothic, Lightline Gothic and Franklin Gothic, modified with both a larger x-height and character width and more humanist-influenced italic forms

By the same illusion which lifts the horizon of the sea to the level of the spectator on a hillside, the sable cloud beneath was dished out, and the car seemed to float in the middle of an immense dark sphere, whose upper half was strewn with silver. Looking down into the dark gulf below, I could see a ruddy light streaming through a rift in the clouds.
